In fact, Yancheng is not known for Huaiyang cuisine, but this restaurant is still quite popular locally. It was lunch time when we came, which was already late, but there were still many customers in the restaurant, and the restaurant was quite clean. I tasted a few dishes and I personally think they are OK, such as Huai'an soft pocket and Yangzhou lion head, which are well cooked and have the magic of Huaiyang cuisine. I also ordered a mutton pot, which tasted quite good, and I ate a few more bowls of mutton soup. The rest of the dishes were also OK.

The environment in Dayang Bay Scenic Area is extremely good, with all garden-style private rooms, quiet and elegant. Reservations are required in advance, and guests staying in the hotel will be guided to the guest rooms. The restaurant private rooms are antique style, not necessarily large, but very elegant. I chose a set meal, and the dishes were exquisite and touching. After sitting down, the dishes were served one by one, beautiful and appetizing. Tasting them one by one, Yancheng's Huaiyang cuisine is also quite punctual. Good weather, good scenery, and good food, it's worth the trip.
